Volksbank d.d. was founded in March 1997 as a fully authorized Croatian bank, owned by Österreichische Volksbanken Aktiengesellschaft (ÖVAG) of Vienna, a bank with a 100-year long tradition and member of the Austrian Volksbanken network.

Orientation and services

Volksbank d.d. is oriented towards providing financial services and support to medium-sized and small businesses, especially those export and import oriented, as well as towards foreign representative offices, sole traders, self employed persons and retail clients. In addition to providing its clients with financial support in Croatia, Volksbank d.d. also helps them in their efforts to do business abroad, thanks to its international network.
